Shoking wake up

I have to admit that this wasn't my first earthquake, but the truth is that is the first one that actually scare me.
That friday i was tired, i should have been with my sister, waiting for my mother that was supposed to arrive around 2 am in to the airport, but her flight delay and i decided to just go to sleep and wake up when she were already in the apartment.
The sound of the building woke me up, when i was able to stand i tried to get out of my bedroom but i couldn't because i was barefoot and the floor was already full of broken things, so i stay on my door frame the whole time. I have heard the sound of the concrete breaking before, but this time all was dark, there were little pieces of wall falling over mi head (after i found out there were shost paint and stucco) and i could barely stand, even though i was graving on both sides of the frame.
At the beginning i could hear my sister screaming my name, but after a while she didn't answer. When it all stop, i put my hands on the floor and look for shoes or anything for get out, grab my phone and ran outside where i found my sister shaking and desperate trying to call my mom, that in that moment should be landing.
It took us around half hour to comunicate with my father in Antofagasta (that had no idea that anything had happened) and around 3 hours later and thanks to my dad, we knew about our mother, she had shost get off the plane and got trap in the baggage claiming area, but besides from scare, she was ok.
After that my mind only could think about my girlfriend, that was (fortunately) with her mom (also visiting) in the 18° floor of her building. after many tries i could finally reach here and was very scared, but save and sound

  2. God! very terrifying your experience. Good that nothing bad happens to you and your family (except for the broken objects, but it doesn't matter in the end)
